About 8:30 AM we heard a truck pull
up in front of the house and figured it was either the trash man or the truss
delivery. We went to look and found that the truss had arrived.
The big ones are for someone else.
Ours were a group on both sides of those big ones. The truck driver got a
crowbar and pried each bundle over until it slipped off and fell to the ground.
He then drove from between then leaving two piles on the ground.
The pile in the foreground is for
the garage and those in the background are for the living area.
We managed to get half of them up
and hope to finish tomorrow.
The ends sticking out over the patio
will have a support under them in a few days.
A small roof at 90 degrees to the
main roof will be built to the wall of the old house to direct runoff either to
the south or to the north.
