Today we will finally get to look at some pictures taken in the park where the TV tower is located. The park has several statues of men who fought against each other and lived before 200 AD. The picture below is the first one you come to.
The park is located above the city and is a beautiful place to walk as suggested in the following picture.
Of course there are souvenir stands along the way, but very nicely located and of good taste.
We stopped and negotiated a price for two items at two different places. For 10 RMB – about $1.40 – we got a table and four chairs, shown below.
A little farther we came to the second statue and took a picture with my hiking partner. The three guys here were in conflict with the guy in the first statue.
There is still more in the park to see, which we will get to tomorrow.
