I know of a person who was asked to go to building 5 in a row of office buildings and ended up at building 6 by counting the buildings, not realizing that building 4 didn’t exist.
If 4 is looked down upon is there a number held in honor? Yes, and it is the number 8, making 2008 an important year. It is the year to get married and the year to have your only child. If you plan right you can do both, but the best is to do one or the other in August. I don’t recommend trying for both in August, but it could be done. The very best is to get married on 8/8/2008. That will be a very busy day for the marriage business. The Olympics being in China in the year 2008 makes it doubly special.
