It is Tuesday evening and I have just returned from my dad's funeral. The time with family was special and the funeral went very well. It was a special time, but a time of sorrow. I have lost my grandparents and now both parents. My dad had four children and was the focus of four families. He drew us together for very special family times. This funeral removes glue that held us together. Now that he is gone it will be harder to find time to get together, especially all at the same time.
The viewing was Sunday afternoon and the funeral was Monday morning. We were overwhelmed by the number of people who came to show their respect. Dad touched the hearts of many people during his lifetime.
