We have been laying blocks for some
time and finally we at the end of this stage of the project, which means I am
going to have to get to work. Before we leave we need to finish the garage.
We need to dig down to a depth that
will be below the freeze line and put in our footer.
The footer is in and the blocks are
on the way. The basement was constructed from ten inch blocks. The garage will
be laid up with eight inch.
Finally the last block is laid and
we are ready for the lumber. I have been working up my materials list and have
taken it in to the lumber company for delivery on Friday morning, June 17th.
