The conservatory is the largest greenhouse in central China, located at the Wuhan Botanical Gardens, and is divided into three parts: tropical rainforest, succulent plant, and orchid zones. There you can find more than 1500 plant species from tropical and subtropical regions, from deserts and wetlands.

I took many pictures and will try to select just a few to give you a taste of what it was like. The falls at one end of the building adds character and nice background sound. Jiajing’s mom was having a great time in front of the falls.

It was just like a rain forest in this section.

My young friend who lives in the same apartment building as I do was with us. I am having fun teaching him English.

There are some very pretty flowers there.

Tomorrow we will visit the desert.
